Holiday Make up Looks

Does your make up usually consist of some basic color eye shadow and mascara? Then spice it up for the holidays. The festivities give you a great opportunity to glam it up and add some drama to your signature look.

Glitterama

Cherryculture: Santee Liquid Glitter Eyeliner $1.00

Don’t make it too hard for yourself. Putting on make up is supposed to be fun. So instead of experiencing a whole new look you could just add some glitter to your signature style. These glitter eye liners are fun and easy to use. Put on your regular make up and add a glittery line to your upper eye corner. Finish it off with an extra coat of mascara. Success guaranteed!

Holiday Gold

1. Sephora Shimmer Pot $8 2. Catrice Eyeshadow Top Coat 3. Drugstore.com: Revlon Nail Enamel, Gold Get 'Em 900 $ 4,99 4. Sephora Glitter Eyeliner $ 12

Gold is the color for true glamour and adds an instant festive touch to your make up. Use lip gloss and blush with subtle sparkles in them and a sparkly gold nail polish on your fingers and toes.
For a subtle shimmer all over your body, mix some liquid gold shimmer into your normal foundation and body lotion for a complete look.

Smoke it up

Sephora Keep Kohl! Waterproof Liner $8 - H&M Smokey Eyes Palette 5,90 EUR - L'Oreal HIP Volumizing Mascara High Drama , Ultimate Black 844 $10

If you want to try a totally different look, try a smokey eye. Use a dark colored eye shadow. It doesn’t have to be black, especially if you’re blond black might be too harsh. Try some dark grey, blue, purple and even shimmery colors such as bronze.
1. Apply a dark eyeliner on both top and bottom lashes. Be sure to smudge it.
2. Apply a dark eyeshadow starting at your lash line and blend up. Blend the color into the lash line so that the eye liner disappears. Stop the deep color at the crease. Finish it off with two coats of voluminizing mascara
3. Use a shimmery blush for your cheeks
4. Apply a light lipstick or gloss
